Six weeks post-op… and honestly? I feel amazing. It’s hard to believe how quickly this process has flown by, and even harder to believe how “normal” everything feels now. This has been such a transformative experience—not just physically, but emotionally, too.
✨ Feeling Back to Myself
At my 6-week post-op appointment, I was officially cleared to:
- Return to work
- Resume normal activities
- Live restriction-free 🎉
I’ve gotten used to the extra volume on my chest, and even sleeping on my side finally feels comfortable again. I still choose to sleep in a supportive sports bra, not because my provider requires it, but because it makes me feel more secure and helps maintain perkiness.
👙 Loving the Results
I can’t believe how natural everything looks and feels now:
- My breasts have softened beautifully and feel as close to natural as implants can.
- The drop and fluff process feels almost complete.
- My cleavage looks exactly the way I’d hoped.
I was worried at first that because I had more side boob, implants wouldn’t give me the cleavage I wanted—but wow, I’m so happy with the results.
🩹 Incision Healing & Scar Care
My incisions are perfectly hidden beneath the natural curve of my breasts and are healing so nicely. Right now, I’m:
- Using silicone scar tape to minimize scarring
- Keeping the area moisturized and protected
- Watching the color fade little by little
I even ordered extra scar tape to use on my C-section scar, since I never treated that area before and figured, why not give it some attention too?
💭 Emotional Check-In
This is the part I wasn’t expecting—the confidence boost.
I’ve gotten so used to them that I sometimes forget I even had surgery. I feel comfortable, confident, and so much happier in my own skin.
Clothing I avoided before? Wearing it.
Necklines I used to feel self-conscious about? Loving them now.
Regrets? Zero.
This was 100% the right decision for me.
❓ Common Questions I Get
“Can you feel the implants?”
Slightly—but only if I’m really pressing around and know exactly what I’m feeling for. Otherwise, they just feel like part of me.
“Are they sitting high?”
Nope! At this point, they’ve settled beautifully into a natural position beneath the muscle.
“Do they feel normal?”
Yes! There’s definitely an adjustment period while you get used to the new volume, but now, they feel totally comfortable and natural.
🌟 My Biggest Advice for Anyone Considering Breast Augmentation
- Trust the process – healing takes time, and the drop-and-fluff journey doesn’t happen overnight.
- Communicate with your provider – ask all the questions and speak up if something feels off.
- Be patient with your body – rest, nourish, and give yourself grace during recovery.
- Do it for YOU – your confidence and happiness are what matter most.
